在中国的“设计之都”——深圳，优秀室内设计师是这座先锋城市最宝贵的财富之一。深圳现有室内设计从业人员3万余人，过去的20多年中，他们用辛勤汗水创造出一个又一个设计杰作，遍布全国各地甚至延伸至海外，如同一张张闪亮的名片，为深圳赢得了中国装饰设计业“发祥地”、“战略储备基地”和“黄埔军校”的美誉。

2007年，第三届中国（深圳）国际室内设计文化节组委会以“亮剑2007—品牌设计在深圳”为主题，特别邀请了55位德才兼备的杰出设计师代表，联合参与“IDCF2007优秀室内设计师风采展”，其目的，就是让精英设计师们从幕后走到台前，凸显设计明星的风采与魅力。

在12月8日至10日三天的时间里，第三届中国（深圳）国际室内设计文化节共迎来国内外观众超过三十万人次，“IDCF2007优秀室内设计师风采展”成为全场关注的焦点，在社会上引起强烈的轰动效应，极大地提升了品牌设计师的社会影响力和辐射力。与此同时，更多业外人士也通过对这群优秀设计师的了解，进一步感受和认识到了室内设计的价值与意义。
